Urgent: Medical Clinic

For the past few years, The African Orphanage has been in dire need for a Medical Clinic to accomodate all of the needs of the orphans. When someone becomes sick in Africa, it is imperative that he recieves the best care possible at the soonest date. Because the African Orpah is situated a long distance away from the Hospital, getting transportation is not easy, and may take awhile. Because of this health issues, even what in America would be considered a minor condition, can become deadly fast. Because of this sad fact, it was determined that the African Orphanage needed a Medical Clinic to care for the children.

Because a generous donor gave us $25,000 in advance,  Abode for Children started building of the Medical Clinic in 2008. As with any building projects, costs exceeded the budgeted amounts, and we are still in need of $14,093 to finish the building. So far Abode for Children has collected $3,300 from sponsor and donors who want to see the Medical Center completed.

Once we finish building the Medical Clinic, we are still faced with the challenge of equipping the Medical Clinic with Supplies. We Need:

The Grand Total we need for the Medical Clinic is: $16,866

Because we are a 501(c) Non-Profit Organization, we rely on donations to care for the Orphans. Unless we get donations, there is no possible way that we can pay this off. 100% of every donation goes to the Orphans and this Medical Clinic.
