In addition to ongoing sponsorships, there are always practical needs that directly impact the lives of the children and schools we serve. Your generosity helps provide safe, beautiful, and joyful places for children to live and learn.

  • Fund busing and reliable transportation for children traveling to school and activities.

  • Help improve buildings used every day by the children. This fund also supports replacement beds, classroom furniture, lab equipment, and computers for growing campuses.

  • Provide special meals, celebrations, and joyful moments for children who rarely experience them, such as birthdays and Christmas.

100% of your giving supports the children directly. Sponsorship administrative costs are covered by Gospa Missions. General donations cover the cost of some administration, and the rest is applied to the fund you have selected.

  • There are several beautiful ways to extend your impact:

    1. Pray for the children. Your spiritual support is powerful and deeply appreciated.

    2. Give to the General Fund. This helps with maintenance, special events, and education for village children.

    3. Request Masses. Mass intentions for special needs or loved ones help support priests in the Guntur Diocese, many of whom serve in very poor parishes.

      • A $5 donation is suggested per intention.

      • A $10 donation includes a commemorative card—a meaningful keepsake or gift.

      • Mass requests can be made at any time.

  • Absolutely. Abode for Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, eligible for most corporate matching-gift programs. Ask your employer about matching your donations. Abode for Children operates exclusively for charitable and religious purposes and is fully tax-exempt under federal law.

  • 100% of your sponsorship contribution goes directly to support the children at St. Thomas, Mother Teresa, and St. Ann’s Junior College Orphanages in Guntur. Funds are used to care for all the children collectively and are not distributed directly to individuals.

  • You may give annually, semi-annually, quarterly, or monthly using:

    • Credit or debit card

    • Automatic bank check

    • Personal check

    Please do not send cash.

    You can also choose how you’d like to receive reminders (by regular mail, or not at all) and update your preferences anytime.

  • The most efficient method is an automatic credit or debit-card donation, ideally set up on a recurring basis. This reduces processing fees and ensures your support reaches the children consistently and securely.
