As a sponsor, you'll receive letters, photos, and updates throughout the year, giving you a glimpse into your child's life and growth. You're also encouraged to write to your sponsored child, offering prayers and words of encouragement.

What Your Sponsorship Provides
The care and education your sponsored child receives empowers him or her to return to their communities and help elevate them out of poverty. With your gift of just $30 per month, you improve the life of an impoverished child by providing:
• Access to a quality education rooted in the Catholic faith
• Nutritious meals & clean drinking water
• Clothing and safe housing
• Books, school supplies, & other basic needs
• Appropriate medical care as needed
• Access to organized sports & other extracurricular activities

You may feel drawn to a child because of a shared interest, a particular need, their age, or simply because their story touches your heart. Each child is waiting for someone who will encourage them, pray for them, and help provide the support they need to grow and thrive. Connecting with Your Sponsored Child
One of the most meaningful parts of sponsorship is building a relationship with your sponsored child. Sponsors are encouraged to write letters and send photos, offering words of encouragement and letting their child know they are loved and remembered. Children reply with letters and new photos twice a year, at Christmas and Easter, creating a lasting connection that brings joy to both sponsor and child.

100% of your sponsorship contribution goes directly to support the children at St. Thomas, St. Mother Teresa, and St. Ann’s Junior College Orphanages. Funds are used to care for all the children collectively and are not distributed directly to individuals.

It takes about $60/mo sponsors per child to fully cover the cost of food, housing, clothing, and education. Many children have two sponsors who each contribute $30/month, however, $60/month sponsorships are also available.

Yes, you can choose from available profiles to find a child you’d like to sponsor or let us match you with a child in need by email us at info@AbodeforChildren.org.

You may continue sponsoring your child as long as he or she remains in the orphanage or school. There is no specific age limit. If your child graduates or leaves the program, we will gladly help you choose another child to sponsor or assign one for you.

Absolutely! You are welcome to sponsor as many children as you wish. Many sponsors find great joy in receiving letters from multiple children.
