URGENT APPEAL 🚨 Cyclone Montha Relief
OCTOBER 2025
🚨 Urgent Cyclone Montha Relief Appeal for Cherukupalli, India 🚨
We are issuing an urgent appeal for support following the impact of Severe Cyclonic Storm Montha, which hit the Cherukupalli area of India on October 28, 2025. The region is experiencing extremely heavy rains, severe flooding, and high winds (90-100 kmph, gusting up to 110 kmph).
Our campus, including our school and orphanage in Cherukupalli, is currently inaccessible due to standing water and is without power. Although the children in the orphanage are safe, the surrounding community is in desperate need of immediate aid.
The cyclone has caused widespread devastation, with heavy rains across the state destroying standing crops in 38,000 hectares and horticulture crops in 1.38 lakh hectares, devastating the livelihoods of local villagers.
💰 Our Goal: $12,000
We urgently need to raise $12,000 to provide essential relief to the local villagers and address critical issues on our campus:
Food Security: To distribute hundreds of bags of rice and lentils to families who have lost their food supplies and crops.
Medical Aid: To procure fever and cold medicines to combat the sicknesses that inevitably follow disasters of this scale.
Campus Flooding & Repairs: To pump out standing water and begin essential repairs to the campus infrastructure, including restoring power.
Our dedicated staff are mobilizing now and will be working independently to deliver aid directly to those in need in the affected villages.
Your donation is critical right now to save lives, prevent sickness, and bring essential relief to the people of Cherukupalli.
